Dear Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,
What a blessed month May has been! As I look back over the past few weeks, I am reminded once again of God’s faithfulness in every area of life and ministry.
One of the greatest highlights of the month was watching our oldest son, Noah, graduate from high school. That makes two graduates and one still to go! Ruth and I are incredibly proud of Noah and the young man he is becoming. It has been a joy to watch him grow, mature, and develop a servant’s heart for others. This summer, both Noah and Bryan Jr. will be spending time helping in the shop, and they are a tremendous blessing. Noah currently plans to continue learning the trade and serving alongside the ministry. I am thankful for his willingness to work and his heart to help others.
Another family blessing this month was seeing our daughter, Catelynne, successfully complete her second semester of college while working full time. We are incredibly proud of the determination and commitment she has shown. It has been encouraging, but also challenging, to watch our children grow up and begin making their own way in life while seeking the Lord’s will.
Please continue to pray for all of our children as they navigate life, seek the Lord’s direction, and follow His leading. As we all know, that is a prayer we each need daily.
The Lord continues to keep the shop busy with vehicles coming in for repairs. Most days I remain booked two to three months out, and I am continually humbled by the patience of those who wait and by the opportunities God provides through each repair. As of the end of May, 136 vehicles have been serviced. While that number represents a lot of work, more importantly it represents people, families, conversations, and opportunities to be a witness for Christ. Thank you for praying that the Lord would continue to use this ministry as a tool to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The month concluded with a wonderful opportunity to participate in Vacation Bible School at Pine Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro, Texas. Brother Todd Ward with the Macedonian REACH ministry and I were invited to be part of their VBS which centered around the theme, “WOW GOD!” There were certainly plenty of WOW GOD moments throughout the week.
It was an honor to serve as the mission emphasis for VBS and to represent both Macedonian and the Mechanics Ministry while sharing what God is doing through these ministries. One of the lessons I shared involved demonstrating how our lives work best when we put God first. Using a simple illustration, the children could see that when God is given first place, everything else in our day and our lives finds its proper place. It was encouraging to see the children engaged, asking questions, and learning about missions and the importance of putting the Lord first. It was exciting to see them learn that missions ministry comes in many forms, and God can use ordinary talents and occupations to accomplish extraordinary things for His glory.
As always, thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and faithful support. The Lord continues to open doors that only He can open, and I am grateful to be a small part of what He is doing. I am further grateful for my family’s support and participation and their love for serving the Lord. Please continue praying for the many individuals and families we encounter, for safety as we travel, and for wisdom as we seek to follow the Lord’s leading.
“Yes, praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the Lord.” — Psalm 103:22
You make a difference, not just in bolts and engines, but in souls and stories. Every repair, every mile, and every moment of service become a story God uses for His glory. Thank you for partnering with us as we seek to use the talents and opportunities God has given us to reach others with the Gospel.
With love and prayers,
Bryan Williamson
